Philip Leston

 

An Ohio native, Philip Leston brings a variety of musical skills and experiences to Hoge Church. Phil is an accomplished music director, vocalist, and plays the piano, keyboard, and organ. Phil appreciates a wide variety of church music styles from Classical / Traditional to Modern Contemporary.

 

Phil’s two grown children, Jennifer and Michael live in the Columbus, Ohio area.

 

Phil graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Music Education. Phil has taught Vocal Music to Junior High students in the Xenia City Schools. Phil has led various choirs and music groups at churches in the Columbus area. Phil’s most enjoyable accomplishment was to accompany Dr. Stephen Clapp of the Juilliard School of Music in concert at Liberty Presbyterian Church in Delaware, Ohio.
